They all arrived in a bunch again, but suffice it to say that no records were threatened during this fly. :D
I was sanding cupboard doors for my darling wife, when I figured it was time to take the young stars out for a fly.
We went a bit further out the road again. About three songs and a news bulletin.
The youngsters had their first one hour toss. :)
And to think that just a couple of weeks ago I was taking them down to the football fields down the street for a wee start. :D
We are going to Bendigo to do a bit of shopping and things tomorrow, so the youngsters get a day off tomorrow.
I think they deserve it. :D

Do you ever put them up at the race track Murry? or is that in a different direction for them. They are doing well mate.

Yep, I took them there a couple of weeks ago, then we have gone out in stages on that road, until today it was a one hour fly.
Devo has been to the racecourse, he knows what I am talking about. ;)

A good tight racetrack, Murray rode on this track around 50 years ago.

When you look at the track surface, you can see it all looks like dirt with lines on it. Not long before we stopped for a look, they had direct drilled grass seed into the ground. The tiny grass is just starting to show, after the winter rains the grass will be a lush cushion.

Yes Murray, I remember you telling me about this. When we where there, there was some guys working on the track. A great track, I feel should be used more.

Looking at that middle picture, I remember just how little I am! Wee jockey man
Feeling good though, jumped on the scales and I've lost some more weight, which is good. I think being retired, being busy and eating well is good for me. Of course my lungs are terrible, but I pay very little attention to that. Worrying about isn't going to make it any different.
I had a reminder of my jockey days this morning. Tripped over, twisted my bad knee, landed on my bad shoulder and my bad hip, and banged my bad wrist! Good effort, hitting nearly all my broken bits in one go. :D

Hope you’re ok Murray. Old injuries certainly show themselves in later life.

Take it easy Murray, those old knocks take longer to heal. when you bounce you bounce hard. Take care of each other mate.
