No, we shouldn't mention politics, but I am very very interested. Anyone who isn't has no right to complain when things get, well, worse.
I am engrossed in the UK elections.
While Italy has a conservative government, France is getting one, the USA and Australia will have one, the UK is getting a socialist government.
Quite extraordinary.

The Conservatives had held power for 14 years in the UK Murray

I'm inclined to think that the mandate from the elcctorate was more a protest as to how they've governed in recent years moreso than Labour "winning".

Either way, the end result is the same today

Starmer has won with a lower percentage of the votes than Jeremy Corbin got when he lost in 2015. It is the lowest percentage of the votes that any incoming prime minister has won. The liberal leader is an absolute prat. All you’ve seen from him over the last few weeks is him playing games and singing and dancing.
Back just enjoying club racing for the time being.
