That’s strange not even in a corner or lower board
Never seen that kind of hole before

It isn't a cat, they don't chew through chipboard. I'd say it's a rat, and a big one!

Gives me the willys thinking about it.

I would say a rat. It amazing the amount of damage they can do. They’d chew through all sorts of things on the farm.

nothing in the trap 8ft of the loft has 1" wire mesh wire had none left so used 2" for the other 2 ft maybe the wire has put it off waiting on stuff coming to put under all the sheds try and keep them away before putting the birds back

It definitely looks and sounds like rats to me George, I get them in my small shed, they do make some bloody big holes

My main lift is fairly high off the ground so as of yet I've not had a problem in there.
I just constantly keep bait boxes all around my sheds and garden these days, it never completely eliminates them but does control them, and I know straight away when they are about again.

You blokes seem to have serious problems with rats. We have plagues of mice every few years in the wheat growing areas, millions and millions of them. But rats don't seem to pose as big a problem.
Probably too many snakes
