Having just read the show edition of the BHW, I wonder how may of the birds on offer will be sold?
Looking at all the wordsmith crafted adverts people could be forgiven for thinking the game was on an upward trend?

They seem to sell
Look at all the birds sold on Excelsior very rare for one not to get the minimum £100 bid

In my experience people will always buy and sell and always pool their pigeons

When we ran the MNFC the pool money speculated on their pigeons was simply staggering
