A nice little video, I have seen it before but it is good to watch it again.
A great pigeon racing family, and like Janssens, another name that has stood the test of time and can probably be found in many of the top lofts today.
Our Dad first got Busschearts back in the 60s from Tom Larkins I believe, Andy will correct if I'm wrong, most of them I think were blues or Chequers and he did well with them crossed into his Cattrysse and Sions. In the 70s he purchased some more from Jack Hayward, these were more pieds and Dark Chequers and never did quite as well as his original stock.
We did have a few members with them in the Worthing Club during the 70s and 80s before the flood gates opened and the more modern European families hit the UK, one of our most successful widowhood fliers back then, Alistair Milne, crossed them with the Wildermeerch.

Yes Trev, any new starters of members. May have been told about some of the old strains of families of birds. So it is good for them to get a better understanding of those breeds of birds.
