It was almost 8 years ago to the day that I kinda witnessed one of the greatest loft performances in the UK of all time

The 2017 Tullamore race on 15th April with the NIPA

A whopping 832 members sending 22,129 birds

I'd been on the phone to the lads and we were speculating about how they'd come as a team - expectations were high as the birds were well. Gary called and said "We've got 1 - just 1 - f_ck knows where the others are"

Just as I started to reply I remember him saying "Oh f_ck here they are"

The result says it all. 32 of the top 40 against 22,129 birds

I remember it like yesterday. Happy Days

3 times a week they train the yb twice a day - short

That was an OB race though

They train once a day twice a week
