I have eggs squashed that have hatched. I think as long as the membrane isn’t damaged.

That's terrible luck, Buster.

Are your nest boxes open at the front or fairly well closed in?

So what are getting in and fighting for? :x

Sometimes you just want to wring their necks.

Very frustrating.

Speakin' of accidents, feeding the pigeons this morning I stepped back onto my beautiful blue white flight Thone' cock. Right on his neck. :o
Thought I had killed him.
He's okay, but he is not happy with me. :x

They are terrible for getting in the way sometimes. I have to shuffle around the loft to avoid stepping or kicking them.

And you have much bigger feet than me! I have jockey's toes.
This is the problem, they just totally trust us, and won't get out of the way. I look like I am learning to do the tango as I weave though them.
Better problem than having wild pigeons, I guess.

Cannot believe it had to ring the youngster today and really struggled to get it on, even if it hatched last monday that would still only make it 7 days old today
