Yep a big statement may be Andy can put a picture up ,from Leslie vale south of Hobart right up through the east coast ,taken in Nowra , Wollongong ,Sydney ,central coast & Newcastle 1200 k ,,birds were basketed on Sept 12th which were picked up from our 5 basket centres ,left Wollongong driving through the night 13 hrs to the boat ,boat ,boat travelled almighty & got in 7 am then a drive to the liberation point ,6 hrs ,held birds until sat in truck ,bad weather across the straits hard westerly ,meaning the birds would of missed main land Aust l,so we had made arrangements for a loft to go into, truck came back looking for a Sat or SundY liberation at this stage fingers crossed,

Good luck killer.
Look forward to the result.
How many birds were sent, do you know? I imagine many of them will be young birds.

Do you think they would fly across to flinders island and across to the Australian mainland and then follow the coast up towards Newcastle rather than straight across the water?

When we fly the north of the island 525 miles to me ,which is 100 plus miles shorter ,they go east of flinders island & are seen coming in at Eden, plenty of sunken ships out there due to the roaring 40s ,so we have a task ahead of us ,

Sunday is your best bet.

Forecast fine in Hobart and the south east corner of the mainland. Light head winds.

Should be a good fly.
