I need to know by the 14th February anyone who wishes some free youngsters, with the amount wanted and rough idea as to when you would like me to let them start laying, no matter when you require them I still need to know by the 14th as I will not be breeding all year and will only breed to order if you change your mind after ordering please give me notice as last year I bred for people who never collected after and I ended up with birds not wanted or needed

I have decided this year to try some from birds from Devo now these will be sons, daughters or birds direct from him some have paired with mine so will be Devo X mine

Trev if you still want any will try and get some reds for you but cannot promise as none of the cocks are paired yet

Remember folks it is you responsibility to either collect or arrange courier not mine

I’ll take 6 again Buster. Although my main aim is still the long distance, if I’m going to be racing with Glastonbury in the West of England Combine I will be having some shorter races. These will mainly be being used as preparation races for the long races. But I may have the odd birds that if doing well will be kept at the shorter races. I am very pleased with the ones I had from you last year and still have all 6. Only trained as youngsters but looking forward to racing them this year.
I am more than happy to test some out for you. This will hopefully keep an interest in the forum for other members too. Also as Devo played such a big part in the forum it would be nice to keep his name going. I already have some here down from him.
I wasn’t going to breed so many this year and want to start building a team around the ones that I have had from members over the last 3 years. But now I may have the chance to test them more and race a few youngsters I may have more than previously planned.
I won’t be pairing mine up until the end of February so won’t be weaning any myself until end of April. But once I pair up the young bird loft will be empty as the hens are in there at present. So I don’t mind anytime after mid March. Whenever best for you.

I think if you start keeping eggs laid from mid February to the end of February. These should then be hatching by mid March and ready to wean by mid April.

I would like to take another 6 Buster, sadly due to the issues I had last year I didn't do the ones I had form you justice. The 2 I do have left have come on very nicely, especially the blue pied hen so I'm looking forward to seeing how they do this season.
I am keeping the odd babies now so can take wome whenever suits you mate, I am away at the end of April so ideally wouldn't want them to close to that but would happily take them after our holiday 👍😁

Obviously any babies I have between now and the end of March will have to take their chances with Mrs Sparrow hawk 😬🤯😡

Noted Trev will let some start laying about mid March for yours then

Over the weekend I opened 10 pipo boxes into nest boxes something I don't normally do as they breed in single pipos usually but as I only intend to breed from about 12 pairs it should sort the arguing and fighting out before they go down

Great offer that.

I’ve not paired mine yet.

Struggling with health and motivation.

Had a fall few years ago and discovered have a broken hip which is now affected by arthritis! Started to impact my life. But work and supporting family has to come before pigeons

I haven’t paired mine yet either. Will do in a couple of weeks. I hope your health improves soon and you get a chance to enjoy a bit of racing this season. The pigeons can be a comfort and a distraction to the struggles of everyday life in a good way.
