Cheers Buster πŸ˜πŸ‘ yes lose an hour in bed with the mornings being a little darker again for a while but at least we will have a bit more daylight in the evenings 😁 if this weather ever brightens up I might actually be able to get a couple of trainers in before racing starts 🀞😬😁

Ours go back 1 hour next week.

Always half a year different. :)

It will be nice to have longer evenings giving us the chance to be out in the garden a bit after work.
First race in 3 weeks time. Mine are now starting to fly quite well in the mornings. It is very restrictive though that we are only allowed to have them out for an hour a day due to bird flu restrictions.

The young birds are nearly yearlings, we are getting cooler weather, and de duifs are getting hungry.

They were happy to be out until 6. Now they are hanging around at 5. I feed them more than enough and take the leftovers away.

Hmmmm it is Andy but having recently had our last club meeting before racing I'm not sure how many fanciers are actually adhering to the avian flu restrictions πŸ€”πŸ˜¬πŸ€”
Our first race is also in 3 weeks, my birds are only going out for a short while in the evenings at the moment but this is more due to the Hawk at the moment 😑😑

I would love to put mine back on open loft. The problem with racing natural the hens are usually sitting first thing in the morning so aren’t getting out. Once the clocks change I will try to at least get them out during the early evening.
