I shall be racing with tbe Sussex North Road Fed this Saturda. We are being transported by the Solent Fed, who are also taki g the Dorset Fed. Should be a good Combine race. As usual the Easterly wind will be against use for Combine honours. So let's get them home and enjoy the sport.

Good luck Leslie. It is unusual to have had Easterly wind for so long and at this time of year. Although a tail wind for us it’s no good for sprint racing when they’re doing around a mile a minute every week and I’m one of the shortest flyers. Mine just don’t break out.

Hi Andy, Shoreham and Littlehampton have been killing the fed each week. Strong NE has seen them up to 200ypm in from sometimes. You cant beat the wind in sprint racing. I have enjoyed this season and hope to compete from the last three races. Been flying hens all season until two weeks ago when i put my only raceable cock in. So it will be him and a couple hens for Hexham. My other cocks are all latebreds from last year who have just been trained to Crawley. Hopefully they will have an any age race from Bovingdon 60 miles in July.

I'M the same Trev; i win every week until i go down the club.

Great to see you still race, though you couldn't have chosen a harder club to win in! Those sprint men and their teams rarely have an off day.
So i shall raise a toast to us that we have a great race from Hexham. Tc Trev

It certainly is a difficult club to get a result in mate

just can't get near these widowhood sprint fliers
Sadly with the wind where it is and the bulk of the combine being over in the west this weekend I think the best we can hope for is to get our birds home Leslie

now Perth and Elgin could be a different story as a lot of these sprint men won't send to those !!! I'll raise a glass to us too though mate
