Here are some up to date photos of the yearlings I have from Buster and Trev that I had as youngsters last year.

This cock from Buster has been coming well. He has had 5 races and apart from being next day from one he has been on the day. Will be going to Ramsgate this coming weekend then that will probably be it for him for this season.

This cock has had two races. From his first race he was 44th combine. From his next race he was reported just a few miles in the opposite direction to the liberation point. He was picked up by Trev and returned to me. Settled back in well and will be looking to have the last 3 races of the season.

This little hen from Buster is one of those pigeons that is just there. Very inconspicuous with her presence. She has had 2 races. Both from Eastbourne 118 miles arriving in reasonable time on the day.

Another from Buster he was 4th bird from his first race but had a narrow escape from his second being reported in Guildford having been hawked. He was put up a couple of days later and subsequently reported even further away in Canterbury Kent. I had him brought home by courier as he obviously was in no mental state to make the way on his own.

A cock bred by Trev. His had 2 races so far but struggled in both being 2 days from his first and next day from his second. He will probably go this coming weekend.

Another from Trev. This hen has not had a race yet.
I think both of these were bred from birds that Trev had from our long standing secretary at Worthing & Dist hs. I had known him since I was a boy. Roy had a stroke a couple of years ago and had to give the birds up. I did hear from Trev a couple of days ago that Roy had died following a heart attack a couple of weeks ago. Very sad but I have good memories of the many hours I spent at the pub with him over the years. R.I.P Roy. Condolences to his wife Carol and their family.
These other couple of photos are of this years youngsters.
