I think we will be lucky to get a lib with the forecast for tomorrow, the storms move in far too soon. We will be lucky to get a bird in under 12hrs and if they make it at all I think it will be nearer 14hrs but most will be next day. Sunday looks a better day if they are brave enough to hold them over again but sadly I think they will make the decision tonight to bring them back to Wetherby for an early lib !!
The Perth birds were liberated at 6.30am in no wind which becomes a light ESE, veering SSE with gusts to 15mph by the time they reach Wetherby (about 220miles, just under half way). They are going to encounter showers through the Midlands some of which will be heavy/Thundery.
Not really sure what to make of that !!! I'm glad they have actually got them away at Perth but it's going to be a tough fly for our birds, there could be the odd bird home in under 12hrs but I reckon 14hrs is more likely, I don't think there will be many back today though.
Good Luck Les and to the rest of those in this race today.

Well done Trev on your two good birds. I clock in btw your two at 11.10am. Got another at 4.55pm but didn't bother to clock him. He would of been 5th club, while my first bird finished third. That's the old bird season over for another year. My ybs go out today for the first time.
