Mark Gilbert
I know he keeps and sends a lot of pigeons but that is still an incredible achievement, 697miles in just under 16hrs, well done Mark and well done also Kevin Foster who timed one at 7.17 this morning both incredible birds. Fingers crossed for a few more home during the day

Outstanding.
Living in Brighton & Sunny Sussex.
Some fantastic pigeons. I still think that these are the best races to do well in. Mark must have been so thrilled to see that bird drop at 9.51pm when getting dark. The first ever bird timed on the day from Barcelona into the UK. Apparently he has already been offered quite a considerable sum for her but has turned it down.
40 back now at the start of the third day. Including another bird that warrants a special mention is one timed in at 8.02 in Sheffield flying 837 miles.

Sadies Lofts home of decent birds just a useless loft manager, and now a confirmed loser but proud
