Not a brilliant first round. I still have 3 stock pairs that haven’t gone down on eggs, 1 pair broke their eggs and another pair didn’t hatch. I had kept some eggs from the race birds. I have had the odd ones of those that haven’t hatched but not to bad. Most are being single reared. I rung the first 5 youngsters yesterday and another 2 today. I have 15 youngsters hatched out so far.
From the race team I have a pair from Pete’s Muzzabella paired to a cock from John & Ben. A pair from Muzzaboy paired to a hen from George & Morgan. I have a pair from 2 from Potter.
I will try to get some photos over the next week.

had one slip it's ring yesterday rung it to-day lets hope it stays this time i find now it's easier doing them early and checking each day
Yes, I try to put the rings on when they are smaller, It's easier and less stressful on the youngster.
It pays to check them for a couple of days though......

These are being rung at 6 days. I also like to ring them early. I will put the ring on and if I can slip them straight back off I leave them another day. But always check the following day that they are still on.
Back just enjoying club racing for the time being.
