It was a nice morning this morning. So decided to take the youngsters for a final training toss before Saturdays race. I went to the same 18 mile point that I had gone too last week. I let the 23 go at 7am. I was only about half way home when Roxanna phoned me to tell me that they had just all arrived together at 7.20am. She then opened the old birds up and when I got home 15 minutes later they were all having a good fly around. I’m quite happy now to stick them into Saturdays race which is only 34 miles. The only problem is that over 5 training tosses starting with 23 and ending with all 23, with them all coming together each time, have I just got a few leaders and a lot of followers? I will find out on Saturday when they go up with hundreds of other birds and will have to break.
Back just enjoying club racing for the time being.

When they first start I like them to come back together as 18 miles not that far unless they get hit I would expect them either together or maybe odd straggler
Well done on keeping them all and good luck Saturday look forward to seeing you get a good one or two ;) ;) :D :D
Sadies Lofts home of decent birds just a useless loft manager, and now a confirmed loser but proud :D :D

Thanks Buster. As you know I lost 3 of the 12 you sent down during the first week they were here. I still have the other 9. They’ve all had all 5 trainers and will all be going on Saturday.

Well done Andy, they've come well for you this year, I hope they continue to do well for you racing bruv 🤞🤞
The wind is going to be on their beaks this weekend which should steady them a bit.

With 5 tosses and only a short race to start off, very encouraging. Looking forward to the results.

Good luck Andy. Stiff SW wind, be a few bruised breasts this weekend.
