I had another youngster reported today. It was lost 3 weeks ago from Littlehampton. It was reported in Portsmouth. Fortunately the premier 100 club are at Wincanton tomorrow so it has beer put on their transporter for me to pick up in the morning. It’s a nice youngster out of “Steve” and a grizzle hen, both from Buster. He done quite well from the first 2 races before going missing. Now with only 2 more races left after this weekend it will be rested up now and will hopefully do ok next year.
Back just enjoying club racing for the time being.

GB22B11751. She was a dark grizzle, almost a dark chequer. She was quite a big hen. Unfortunately she was lost from her first race.

Yes Trev it is. I picked one up 3 weeks ago that went into a fancier in Southampton. He went to Stoney Cross last week and has gone to Littlehampton today. Another of our club members also had one brought back by them.
The one I picked up this morning was from someone in Portsmouth. The premier 100 come up quite regularly to Wincanton so those that have them in are able to sort out getting them put on the transporter.
This way of getting birds back does work well and saves a lot of expense.

It is a great money saver, I used to take birds to Penkridge to hand over to Nigel Rigiana (spelling) for him to take down south
