Andy i have 10 0lr birds all done the final and all handle small to medium
I don’t know George whether I am anywhere near right but I’ve been giving it a bit of thought. I was thinking you would say that! I wonder whether the birds that survive the rigours of OLR are more likely to be distance pigeons and the distance on the final race is of little consequence. We know that sprint pigeons will be burnt out well before the distance pigeons. They take longer to recover from a hard race. Often after a hard race the distance pigeons will be ready to go again next morning. Sprint pigeons take a few days to recover. So I would suggest that by the time the sprint pigeons get to the final most are already gone or burnt out.George and Morgan wrote: ↑Fri Oct 13, 2023 11:55 am Andy i have 10 0lr birds all done the final and all handle small to medium
