Some birds just stand out, this one caught my eye. And i must say, a very nice eye it has.

A nice bird. That eye is a bull eye. Very common in birds with a lot of pied. Very rare in pigeons with no or little pied. It seems that it’s a gene linked with the lack of pigment in pied feathering. It’s a shadowing over the eye not allowing the light to show the colours underneath. The light used to take the photo of this eye must have been extremely bright as you can see a little of the eyesign.
Back just enjoying club racing for the time being.

Very nice bird. Very inbred to De Kittel . Might breed some good pigeons.

This is a very nice young hen, i would say this eye is going to get stronger. One for breeding i would say.

The eye is another bull eye. As would be expected with another very pied pigeon.
