That pigeon has a double cross of the Van den Brande brothers' "Goed Grijs" on the female side. Mated to a pigeon off the Van den Bulck lines, they could produce supers!
Quite exciting, Devo.
Yes Murray, also Crack 19 bred 9 Nat Champions so its looking really good.

Very nice pedigrees Dev, it is a shame I'm not bilingual lol but you certainly get the gist 👍 I see the Herbots are still featuring in a few pedigrees, great pigeons again back in the day. I hope they do well for you mate and it's great to see you with the old sparkle back 🤗 long may it continue.

To give you an idea of what a pigeon we are talking about.
‘CRACK 19’ WONDER COCK
Another mega class racer is NL14-1466919 ‘Crack 19’, in his racing career crowned as 1. acebird middle dist. combine 2016 winning 4x top 10 in NPO & provincial racing against average 5,000 birds. However in breeding he is even more sensational … 3 generation offspring won in many lofts all over the world; a small survey:

Many more 1. prize winners in big competition & prov./NPO top 10 winners

‘Crack 19’ is a direct son of ‘Golden Dream’ and therefore close family to ‘Jet’ … in fact; ‘Crack 19’ and ‘Jet’ have been paired up in their top racing year and bred at least 3 super breeders, including the mother of
– ‘Claire’ Gebr. Leideman; 1. s-prov. acebird allround 2021 with 1. Soest 17,538 b. … 1. Chalons En Champagne 5,887 b. … 1. Sens 1,629 b. … 2. Telgte 734 b. after nest sister

– ‘Sister Claire’ Comb. Heeren; Breeder of 1. Nat. GP Melun 4,963 b.

But probably the best direct child of ‘Crack 19’ is NL16-1076052 ‘Arturo’, who developed as the new breeding sensation at Leideman brothers when paired to NL15-1234049 ‘Tila’.
THE WONDER COUPLE ARTURO X TILA
Sometimes as a fancier you realize it when you are handling gold with a certain couple. This realization came to Leideman on the 7th of July 2019 at the race of Lorris, 597 km. A challenging NPO race where the fastest pigeons had to hit 1150 mpm; it meant hard work, but it really was an honest battle. Leideman managed to achieve a strong result with 7 pigeons among the first 14 of the National sector 4 of 6,086 pigeons. The first two pigeons (‘Aura’ and ‘Nancy’) as well as the winners of the 13. and 14. National (‘Haley’ and ‘Fabio’) all came from ‘Arturo’ x ‘Tila’ … and every single one of those pigeons turned out to be more than a one-day wonder, they all would continue to win 1st prizes multiple times! The confirmation that this couple is worth gold.

In the years after also 2nd, 3rd and 4th generation offspring of ‘Arturo’ x ‘Tila’ showed to win; always and anywhere! Direct children are for Leideman brothers winners of
1. Nat. S4 Issoudun 709 km 3,746 b.
1. I.prov. Weert 13,141 b.
2. Nat. S4 Chateauroux 731 km 3,647 b.

4. Nat. S4 Sens 4,672 b.
5. prov. Venlo 4,910 b.
5. prov. Rethel 8,181 b.
1. Venlo 570 b.

In 2020 the brothers were forced to move and sold the total racing team, with amongst them several children of ‘Arturo’ x ‘Tila’ … fanciers that manages to purschase these diamonds never regretted it … they bred winners of a/o

You certainly can't argue with those results mate, they speak for themselves.
Not that I have ever had birds quite like that sadly 😓 it is quite something when you get a line that just click !! The closest I ever got was a Gay pied Berger cock gifted to me back in the late 80s by the late Laurie Everett, I paired him to a hen of our Dads, without finding the old records I can't remember what strain she was, but it's very likely she was a Buscheart Catrysse cross. Although this pair didn't actually breed me a winner themselves they bred me a pure White cock who went on to become sire/grandsire of several generations of winners from 250 -500mls, probably the best and most consistent line of pigeons that I ever had.
