I’ve just got one yearling hen in the widowhood section that hasn’t laid yet, all others now down on eggs. The first should hatch in 9 days time.
The ones in the natural section have been a bit more difficult. These 6 pairs were left to find their own mates. I had 11 hens in with the 6 cocks. 3 pairs are on eggs and the other 3 are paired up but not yet laid. These will be split the same as the widowhood’s.
