They can certainly be very frustrating sometimes lol, it doesn't matter what we try in the end they will lay where they want to

I’ve just got one yearling hen in the widowhood section that hasn’t laid yet, all others now down on eggs. The first should hatch in 9 days time.
The ones in the natural section have been a bit more difficult. These 6 pairs were left to find their own mates. I had 11 hens in with the 6 cocks. 3 pairs are on eggs and the other 3 are paired up but not yet laid. These will be split the same as the widowhood’s.
