It’s been a lovely day today, clear blue sky all day and up to 18c. We’ve spent all day out in the garden. Cut the lawn, Roxanna was doing the flower beds. Things are all start to grow nicely now.
I put all the youngsters in the basket today and checked them over and put on my phone rings. There are some very nice youngsters in there. While I had them in the basket I put the new floor down.
Once I had finished that I held the basket up against the bob wires and opened the flap. With just a little coaxing the all ran through the wires and into the loft.
I also went through all the old birds and put the ETS rings on some of the later bred ones from last year that didn’t have them.
Sunday and Mondays job is to start clearing out the back of the shop ready for taking it down and replacing. The freezer was stripped down and taken to the dump last week lol. I will have another couple of loads to take but that should all be fine.
A lovely day today.
Certainly has it got up to 20c here once the cloud had burnt off, the birds look well mate like them 2 smokies, didn't take long to soil floor did it

Sadies Lofts home of decent birds just a useless loft manager, and now a confirmed loser but proud

The garden looks terrific, Andy. Spring has well and truly sprung.
You have some excellent youngsters there, you must be well pleased.

Tee shirt and shorts here today too. Going to about 26 they reckon. Nice for a late autumn day.
Just mowed the lawn and drained the oil out of the mower. It's done bit of work over the summer and I haven't changed the oil since last year.
As my old mechanic used to say, 'oils is cheap compared to new engines".
