It would seem strange to me to not try to get everything right to compete if you are able to get good pigeons it would be neglect to me if I didn’t try to feed so energy etc is at its highest race day for the sake of a couple mins a day working out a mix
I have the same aim, but watching a lot of blokes in New Zealand, and in Australia where it is all totally different, and read huge amounts on the practices of the Europeans, I have pretty much thrown everything I thought I knew out the window. Note I say Thought I knew.
Most of what I held to be correct was okay 20 or 30 years ago. So was the way they fed racehorses. It has changed.
