It reminds me of Gabys "Kleinen" and "Wittenbuik" Mike, quality at its best.

I'll let Neil update you

It's his pigeon - I know him to be 16 years of age, still exercising, and a genuine racer/breeder

He’s a old favourite I couldn’t kill when the time come
I never really made great use of him as I worked away 3 days 4 nights most weeks and 2 weekend in 3 so he wasnt raced a great deal in them days
He was only fed on beans 24/7 and Gerry plus with sunflower to trap
He was only raced in a celibacy tyoe system or natural
He won 7 inland races
I sent him to the combine from poiters he was 3rd combine
He went to 3/4 national race at 365 and 480miles he scored 31st and I think about 50th
His son was 4th bbc 482 miles a daughter 4th combine at 300 miles
I only ever bred 15 babies a year then when I stopped racing for 31/2 years
I didn’t breed ybs so he was wasted again
One year I trained my birds then sent them to the bbc messac 295 miles first race without a club race that year I was 29th open he was my next pigeon I can’t remember his place but not far behind

There two pigeons I have never killed and he is one of them he had a hen lays but never filled and hasnt filled for years

We all have a couple of old favourites.

One of mine.

Now 8 years old. Still one of the first out for a fly and filling his eggs. Never been in a basket as my wife wouldn’t let me race him and has never really bred much but such a character.
