I have been lucky, I came to Australia from NZ aged 16, spent several years travelling and riding all over south eastern Australia before returning to New Zealand.
Catherine and I came back to Oz nearly 20 years ago and in the first couple of years lived in various parts of the country. I have been to Hong Kong and Singapore with the company I worked for and now we are retired we spend time just jumping in the car and going where we feel like.
We have had some adventures and seen some things, and now I am not as well as I once was I am content to spend my days more quietly.
I like Andy's proposal. Sell up and retire and do some things while you are still well enough to do it!
Greetings from the land down under. :D

I have never had any desire to travel and can't see that changing, as with Andy I spent a long time in farming and now just want to enjoy working less, I'm 58 in August and I can't afford to retire completely at the moment but certainly plan on having more time off. Lisa can't travel long distances so we generally holiday in the New Forest, it's very relaxing so it will do for me. Other than that I just enjoy my Grandchildren and pigeons, although the grandchildren do get exhausting lol 😬😁🤗
I just hope that life is kind to you all and you get plenty of time to enjoy whatever you choose to do, time is precious so make the most of it.

I do more since retiring than ever all my working life, mostly those days I had 3 jobs or just working 16 plus hours 7 days a week when I only had one, paying for it now with health issues but would not change a thing, when you want the good things in life for you family you do whatever it takes
Sadies Lofts home of decent birds just a useless loft manager, and now a confirmed loser but proud :D :D
