1st section 15th open nrcc 572 miles one of the longer fliers probably 80-100 miles further than the Lincolnshire / Nottinghamshire lofts

What blood would he fly?
It was Jellema but not sure of the actual details he keeps only distance pigeons at his place and his father races sprint/ middle distance in the same village so it’s a joint thing
He only keeps a few birds 35 ybs and about 12-15 pair to race tops
I had a squeaker come in as stray last year which is apparently a Jellema, the owner only brought them in a couple of years ago so hadn't had chance to prove them yet, he was happy to transfer it to me. I didn't get to race her last year as she wasn't old enough, I sent her to Melton Mobray, 134mls, for her first race on the 25th of May this year. She turned up next day with her crop split open, I took her round to another fancier who helped me stitch her up. She is doing well now, you'd never know it had happened, unfortunately I didn't get to race her again so I'll have to decide what to do with her over the winter. I might send her to Guernsey with the BICC in August

Didn’t premier stud in Wales have these to race in the last few years I’m sure I read they were setting a loft up to race distance races

Very interesting Devo, thanks for posting maybe I should be breeding from this little hen then the only thing I did notice from that video is that nearly all of their champions were Blue Chequers or Blues !! Mine is the right type, small but perfectly formed, but she's pied !! I did see a couple of pieds I their loft and even a Mealey but most are Chequers or Blues

Yes Neil, I'd love to join the NRCC again if they had a Marking station nearer !!
