My club mates Lerwick pigeon
I had a squeaker come in as stray last year which is apparently a Jellema, the owner only brought them in a couple of years ago so hadn't had chance to prove them yet, he was happy to transfer it to me. I didn't get to race her last year as she wasn't old enough, I sent her to Melton Mobray, 134mls, for her first race on the 25th of May this year. She turned up next day with her crop split open, I took her round to another fancier who helped me stitch her up. She is doing well now, you'd never know it had happened, unfortunately I didn't get to race her again so I'll have to decide what to do with her over the winter. I might send her to Guernsey with the BICC in August
It’s a shame there’s no marking for the nrcc your way TrevTrev wrote: ↑Thu Jul 04, 2024 9:08 pmI had a squeaker come in as stray last year which is apparently a Jellema, the owner only brought them in a couple of years ago so hadn't had chance to prove them yet, he was happy to transfer it to me.
