Yes gone quick
Only had half a old bird season and with natural ybs that’s always a bit short
To be honest if the fed never changed the race programme to short race last week this week may have been my last race but i decided not to send last week as they dropped back to 50 miles for me I can’t see that as a race myself some members flew 45 miles
Here we are at the 5th week
50 / 83/110/50/83 that’s all we have had
Next week 110 then 156
So the 156 should have been a week earlier and 2 of them.

We’re at the usual Stoney Cross this weekend, 34 miles to me. They haven’t been further than 57 miles yet. They are having a 27 mile toss with a club mate today.
Back just enjoying club racing for the time being.

Turned out a hard trainer but would have done them good. I sent my 7 with his 71. All let go together. They were flying into quite a strong headwind. Let go at 14.45 I had one at 15.55. A second at 16.24. I then had 3 around 18.00. This left me 2 short. I then got a phone call from the chap in Radstock who had already had a hen of mine in twice to say she was back again. She must almost have flown over my loft and gone a fair bit further in the headwind. He is going to keep her. I am still one missing. Kim who took my birds had 67/71 but quite well split after the first few.
