That's strange George, I can't see any reason weather wise why they would change the day !! We are only a little bit down the road from you at Bovingdon and there has been no suggestion of bad weather. It's funny though as Andy's race from Reading, again only a few miles away from Bovingdon was also cancelled :? :? It will be interesting to see what kind of race we get.
Maybe it's been changed to avoid clashing due to the heavy losses that have been suffered this year. There are also two classic races on today, not that that usually makes any difference, it would be interesting to know why !!

Good luck all racing today.

The 3 counties decided to change their race point and day on Thursday. They cancelled Reading as at that time they couldn’t see any chance of getting a liberation from there. They decided to switch to Stoney Cross and go for a Sunday lib. The WOESRC are also at Stoney Cross again today. Sunday now doesn’t look good so we decided that we would all send with the combine rather than the 3 counties. So another 34 miles race for me :twisted: :twisted: I was looking forward to Reading. I think the 3 counties could have made an error in judgement. Today is good until midday.
Back just enjoying club racing for the time being.
