Guess the time
We've had some very varied reports down here, especially in the NFC Falaise race !! There are a fair few birds missing in our Federation again tonight and some very late arrivals, last weeks Fed winner only got 1/9, and sadly it wasn't his Fed winner, Alan Still is now down to just 2 youngsters having only got 2/5, another good flier, Andy Richardson has only got 4/14 and didn't time in until 15.52 !!!
So Alan Still has lost all his team ? He was flying really well a few weeks agoTrev wrote: ↑Sat Sep 07, 2024 10:27 pm We've had some very varied reports down here, especially in the NFC Falaise race !! Knowing Alan he probably has a couple of cock birds that he has stopped as these will be his race team next year. He had a quadruple heart bypass last winter so cut his numbers right down so will only be racing 18/20 cocks now, he wont race hens as old birds anymore unless he decides to send a few to the longer races. He also got rid of his stock birds last year so only bred from his racers. He started this season with 19 cocks and had 18 left so won't have room for many, although anything over 2 years old in his loft or that hasn't scored will be moved on. He has actually been asked to write an article for squills this year.
Alan is a right character/piss taker but also a proper gent, he is old school so you do have to take some of what he tells you with a pinch of salt lol

We are supposed to be at Rugby this week for our last race. It's 108mls 840yds to me, if you assume we are going I'll let you know if that changes.
He sounds my type of fancier small team of cocks moved them on at 2Trev wrote: ↑Mon Sep 09, 2024 3:08 pmHe only had 5 left after the bad race we had a few weeks back.NeilA wrote: ↑Sun Sep 08, 2024 1:08 pmSo Alan Still has lost all his team ? I tend to move them in at the end of yearlings but the same kind of thought that they won’t get much quicker with age
