Yes I remember 76, I was only 10 and remember me and my brothers playing under our Dads garden sprinkler to keep cool

The year we lost Elvis Presley, Bing Crosby and our Grandpa too

I remember it well. I was 14 then. I went to Germany with the Worthing swimming club for 2 weeks in early August that year and remember the grass being brown when we came back.
Back just enjoying club racing for the time being.

For a different reason.

These days, it would be CLIMATE CHANGE! All the polar bears are melting!

We were a bit less woke and a whole lot more aware back then.
