Our club is still waiting to have our last couple of races. Last weekend we were due to have had longest young bird race but that was postponed due to the weather. They have been hoping to have had it during the week but now Saturday probably seems like the first chance. The final short race that was going to be this weekend will I think probably now be cancelled. The thing is that my natural youngsters now, albeit only got 2 flights to go, are looking a picture in the body. Most of our members that have darkness youngsters are pulling out of this week’s race now because their birds are falling apart. I don’t think as a club that we will be sending anymore and our season has come to an abrupt end.
Back just enjoying club racing for the time being.

The 3 counties are having their final and longest race tomorrow. The optional short race has been cancelled. As a club we have decided that we won’t send, most members with darkness youngsters have them falling apart now. Although the weather looks good for tomorrow the birds will be flying into a cold headwind barely getting into double figures. Good luck to those that are sending.

I would say close your loft, we have had some bad weather. Just keep the birds at home and start your plans for next year, i am sure you will have some loft tasks to do, to keep you busy.
