The loft is lovely and dry and fresh, and the birds are looking great.
I put the little barriers up to stop the small ones wandering out and crashing onto the floor for a few days until they get their bearings

On Saturday I was out the back clearing some branches with the little electric chainsaw. At one point a tiny speck flew into an eye. Sharp too. :o
I rubbed my eye and carried on. I woke up during the night and flushed my eye under the tap and went back to bed.
Sunday it was sore, but I didn't give it a lot of thought.
Yesterday it was red and painful. Finally I gave in and went up to the local hospital. The nurses put dye in it and found a scratch on the eye. Gave me some drops and told me to go to Bendigo and see an Optometrist if it was no better after the numbing drops wore off.
This morning it was bloody sore. After I did the pigeons I woke Catherine up and said we need to go to Bendigo and got it looked at. Bit of a performance and now i have a plastic lens in my eye to protect it and different eye drops. Feeling better already, but I am very tired. We did some shopping and things and it was a long day out.
Got to go back on Thursday.
It'll be fine but It's surprising how a speck in your eye can knock you around.

Very delicate things eyes, I should know I’ve all but lost the use of one. Watch what you’re doing Murray and take care. Hope it heels quickly.
