Transporting eggs

Talk about anything racing pigeon related here aslong as there isnt a section for it.

What would be the best way to move eggs just 15 miles by car from one loft to another to under sit
Are there any basics things not to do
This will be late January time

don't drop them firstly lol but put some light feed in a tub
put eggs in a sprinkle abit more around them to secure them transport them their easily removed and reuse the feed

you can leave eggs over night in summer and they hatch but I take it car will be warm already just have heaters on be fine ide say for time they be there

I just use a takeaway food container with cotton wool balls in it. Place the eggs in so they aren't touching and put more cotton wool over them.
Clip on the lid. Safe as houses.

I've always just used an ordinary egg box, you could line it with some tissue just for extra protection but I've never bothered. It won't hurt them to get cold for a short time, I don't imagine they'd get very cold over that distance though.
I've known someone take eggs from here abroad and hatch them out ok.

I was thinking egg box with tissue so they don’t rock about
