What would be the best way to move eggs just 15 miles by car from one loft to another to under sit
Are there any basics things not to do
This will be late January time
Transporting eggs
I just use a takeaway food container with cotton wool balls in it. Place the eggs in so they aren't touching and put more cotton wool over them.

I've always just used an ordinary egg box, you could line it with some tissue just for extra protection but I've never bothered. It won't hurt them to get cold for a short time, I don't imagine they'd get very cold over that distance though.
I've known someone take eggs from here abroad and hatch them out ok.
