Morning all, have watched this this morning on YouTube, from what I gather from this it's the Hall report possibly a way forward?.
It's Dan Soanes Brown & Ian Evans talking about how it needs to reform & hopefully if implemented at the AGM will be excepted, needs to be more streamlined with rules etc & fit for purpose in 2025 going forward & actually being more cost effective & not running at a lose.
Will the Councillor's get on board with this if mandated or will it be turkey's don't vote for Christmas again, time's running out & the clock's ticking.
I'm sorry I've not been able to put the link up from YouTube that's a bit to technical for me.
Regards Dave.

Thanks Devo, yes watched it this morning, I'm afraid if we don't get a major overhaul of the Hobby/ Sport, rules & financial implications then we will run out of time.

Dave it is all about working together, and move forward. Let members have a say about their sport, looking at ways of what is best for the sport. Also making the sport more affordable, Get some sponsorship from the big brands, marketing the sport that people love

Ian has the best interests of the RPRA & Sport in mind, but since the RPRA got it's Subs increased they WON'T change anything.

I think Ian had good intentions the short time he was at the RPRA but same old story the people that should of been proactive irrespective if it meant to inpliment change that might well have seen many Councillors outed from there roll at region level, to be more streamlined.
The Hall report was brought out 2016 I stand corrected if this is wrong, cost 10k that was chucked out in it's entirety.
So we find ourselves back to square one again being asked for more money/ membership fees, I haven't got a problem with that at all as this should have been done years ago with rising costs.
I think as you've said sponsorship, technologies etc they've missed the boat with this, hopefully it will be looked at this time & get out of this stagnant burying heads in sand attitude.
