What I would like to understand is if you use one spoon of tdc how can that be the same as using each product individually as they would all be similar dose but combined be say 4 spoons
That's simple.
To ensure you can give an accurate amount of a medication they put a small amount of it in a large amount of a harmless powder. For example Turbosole is 12% Ronidozole and 88% base powder. To give the correct amount you might use 1 teaspoonful in a litre of water, or whatever.
With these 4 in 1 products they put a small amount of each medication in the same amount of powder. So, 1 teaspoonful has the correct amount of 4 medicines instead of 1.
doctor sluis recommended today that that tdc is not the same as treating with one of there products
for the actual issue if the is a problem with canker treat for it with a canker product
So to me that means tdc is more mild than a direct product
I suspect that Dr Sluis is like most medical people theses days, both human and veterinary. They have moved away from using any medication that is not needed.
So, Dr Sluis is right. If a bird needs canker treatment, it should be treated for canker. Not for cocci and Salmonela and ornothosis. The days of giving medicine "because I can" are over.
I have lung disease and got a chest infection a couple of years ago. Ended up at the hospital. They checked me over and sent me home. No antibiotics. They don't do that anymore except as a last resort.
Greetings from the land down under. :D
