Is it ok if the outer of the circle isn’t a neat line like a washer as Andy mentioned
I can see the washer shape but the edge isn’t smooth or is that not important

No the opposite really. I like to see it nicely serrated. Like a star burst around the outer edge. I’ll see if I can find a good natural photo. Don’t like these photo shot photos of eyes.

So the inner of the washer smooth outer broke ?
I guess I’m getting the star burst confused with shading where it merges into the next colour

I’m going to take 3 cocks eyes and a couple of good hens to see what you think of them and the good and bad points
All 4 are decent so no duffers but I will also take the new cock which I don’t have a clue if it’s any good
