Well i was reading this bit of news, and it is really good to read about other members in the sport. And I must say at top level, in a sport for all so what a year for this Lady.

The other name I remember from years ago was Len Clarke I think I have that right he flew the Marcelis pigeons a lot reds and mealys

Yes Neil, I started racing pigeons in the 1970s. There were some great flyers around that time. and some top flyers sending very large teams of birds. The Liverpool Amal was really strong at that time. so you had to have the right birds to do the damage.
One guy that knew the sport so well was Les Kilshaw, and he had time for youngsters coming into the sport. He was a great flyer and knew about the birds, you would hear the words, what time is Kily in.
