Why do you think the odd pigeon gets wet dropping I can’t see it being stress now the moult is over
I have 24 cocks 2 are a bit wet the rest are near perfect
A bloke said to me put a piece of garlic down them for two days I’m not sure how that would solve it I can understand it in the drinker to stop the water intake

I had a cock like that back in 2006/2007

He was murder. I gave up on him in the end

Every other cock in the Section was perfect (and you know how particular I am)

Every day he was flooded

I never did get to the bottom of him (if you catch my drift)

Oddly enough he had 5 x top 12 Federation performances against 2,000 + birds

One of these two is a good one Mike had a fed win 2x 3rd the other only a yearling
I tried that moor gold but that’s crap as my hens dropping are spot on and they don’t have it
They have flax twice a week with the extra pink mineral you advised and two days Gem with a spice mix I make up bit like poultry spice but from the Asian shop
Iodine in the water Monday
Garlic water Friday to Saturday
ACV every day

It bugs me that these two are like this

He got hit by a peregrine in late May so I couldn’t race him after it was June when I thought he’s a bit wet then it seemed to go normal to the end of the summer and it crept back in so now it’s all the time

No got a clue except to say I sometimes see it also. In fact I had a really tidy one a few years ago that was always like it over the winter, but come spring and summer was fine.

You probably wanna persevere with him Neil, and I accept that

The only thing I can say is that I never had a really good pigeon like that

I got to mate he’s possibly my best sprint cock going into next year
He’s crap after 200 miles but up to there he’s decent and with only 3 old cocks I do t know what I have in the 21 yearlings
