To be honest my experience is different

I've found lice/mite on pigeons and showed them to the fancier and they've said "they were only done 6 weeks ago with U200"

I've seen this with both Lee Painter and Gary Gordon, so its deffo not what it used to be

Not being funny George but I know what I've seen with my own eyes (not saying negative about Alice)

To put it bluntly, i wouldn't be paying money on U200 to rely on it keeping my birds clear for 12 months

That's my experience with what I've handled and seen myself.

And these boys are absoltely vigorous with their health and well being.

All I know is I did my babies in Late May
Then about week 3 of the yb season I noticed they needed doing
Not massive amounts but definitely Lice
A couple of years ago the product was a lot better

Totally agree

Lee and Gary's were not "evil" - and not every pigeon impacted

But certainly not as bulletproof as it used to be

Never had problems with lice etc George
As I hold each bird every week in quite warm
Bucket of water with virkon in ,each bird 1 minute each bird
With just there head sticking out then it takes most of the day for them to dry out feather so soft after they dru out George

Doesn’t last a year when mixing with others
A few years ago it did
And therein probably lies the difference

Much higher rate of cross-contamination in racing lofts being in the basket every week

It used to work a treat but in the last 18 months its not "as" effective

So, for me, I think the formula has been tweaked in some way shape or form
