A short video of the bird before its going on its way to our loft in a few days.
Looks smart enough Leon

All you gotta do now is to test, test test
Plent of testing will have to be done. It seem that i also sparked huge interest in some people from our combine about the bird so i will offer them some co-breading for 2-3 people with their best hen for 1 youngster for myself and them each. So his genes will also be entering some of the best lofts in our combine within this year and hopefully breed very well there in the upcomming 2-3 years for them.
Good luck with it all hope it goes to plan
Sadies Lofts home of decent birds just a useless loft manager, and now a confirmed loser but proud :D :D

Similar type to the pair of youngsters out of the Billion Dollar Baby, who is out of a G Daughter of Kittel. Excellent strong types.

He'll soon be your pigeon (in the flesh) Leon and I wish you well with his development.

Personally, if he were mine there's zero chance that I'd be offering to put his bloodline into the hands of my competitors.

Allow me to explain my own point of view

You've just invested a lot of money in a bloodline that's doing very well. I know better than most the performances being achieved by the line of Blizzard King Kittel, his brother Phantom Blizzard, let alone Kittel and Olympic Rosita. It's an exclusive line of pigeon to acquire as close as you've got it and not everybody could do it or would be willing to do it

My mate Lee Painter is about 18 months ahead of you. He has a son of Blizzard when mated onto a Daughter of Greipel. He took 4 from him to race as babies in 2024 and 3 out of the 4 won. That gives him the confidence to try maybe 3 rounds from him this year, and he'll also be taking some from the children who are in the race team. So his 2025 team will see children and g.children being raced. If the results are promising again in 2025 then he can expand his Blizzard operation again. This is what I mean by testing

If I'm a guy in your Combine then I'd be offering to do the deal that you've just agreed to. I would want access to this super exclusive bloodline too. It's obvious to see what they get out of the deal. But this cock is your pigeon though. He's your asset. He could well go on and breed something very special for one of your competitors and they beat you with it that line every week. Whilst on the one hand that may give you some pride and some pleasure, there's not much fun in getting beaten by your own birds every week (that's just my view).

What i'm saying is if this cock throws something ultra-special then having paid all this money for him then in the first instance I'd want it to be for me in my loft - not to a competitor. In the summer/autumn of 2025 you can sell some YB from him if you like by all means to recoup the hefty invesrment you've made, but me, I'd be saying "thanks but no thanks" to the opportunity of allowing his offspring to readily go into the hands of my competitors

Still, I do see your point too and it's your choice, your pigeon and I hope he goes onto do very well

Some may cry, " I can't see it's wing! "
Well, here''s the thing. I am not going to over open a baby's wing to show someone who isn't going to buy it.
I knew a bloke who used to come around to my place and grab my youngsters and pull their wings out :( :o
As I said, I used to know a bloke
