It is the bullshit reasons they give for it that I don't agree with !!

I have flowers still going also strawberries and rhubarb, you are correct in what you say regarding weather and summers etcAndy wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2025 9:35 am I am a bit sceptical on climate change but our weather over here has certainly changed over the past years. We haven’t had a summer to speak of for a few years. Last year we had one week of decent weather. The year before we had a good spell, but in the spring and not during the summer. We are getting a lot more rain now too, and more storms. We don’t get the nice bright cold winters we used to. Now we generally get wet miserable ones. We didn’t get any snow or hardly even a frost last year. So far this year we’ve just had a couple of really cold days. Summers used to be summers and winters used to be winters, not anymore. There were daffodils out at the end of November and plenty coming out now. They wouldn’t have been out until February in the past.

A bloke offered a box full of old Australian Pigeon Racing Journals to David Cox. Davey said it wasn't his sort of thing, I don't think he's a huge reader, but he knew a bloke who would be pleased. So I picked them up yesterday.
I thought "old" meant old. There's editions from the early 2000's right up to last months one!
A bit of light reading.....
