I started from scratch after we moved to St Arnaud.
All of the youngsters from the first couple of rounds went to other lofts, and I just said no, I'm keeping these ones. There's 7 babies just going out and they are a great kit.
I had the Gordon box empty, and weaned them into it. I was able to feed and water them several times a day, change the paper in the box, pick them up and put them down, give them little bits of veggies and grit, talk to them.... :D
Now they are in the loft and totally imprinted on me. If I am by the sputnik they just go in through it
Now there's another little kit in the box learning the system. :D
That's the Gordon box with the big pigeon on it.

Have you still got Gordon Murray? Or was he one that disappeared when you tried letting them out?

Gordon vanished after he'd been going in and out for a few days. I saw him flying over and never saw him again. I lost about half a dozen like that. One day I had 3 out in the bath, they went for a fly and never saw any of them again.

Shame mate, but good to see the next stage progressing well
Sadies Lofts home of decent birds just a useless loft manager, and now a confirmed loser but proud :D :D

Such a shame. Good to see his old box being put to good use.
