I recieved the sad news today that our friend Des Coulter had passed away.
He hadn't been in good health for a while now and was admitted to hospital a fortnight ago suffering from Pneumonia on top of having recently been diagnosed with heart failure. I sent a couple of books in for him to read and went to see him last week, He was very poorly but in good spirit and seemed to be improving, he was enjoying reading "Captain of the Queens flight" by Len Rush. I spent just under an hour with him by which time he was getting a bit weary. Sadly he contracted Covid 19 earlier this week and finally succumbed this morning. He was a stockman by trade, an outstanding pigeon fancier and a true gentleman who will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Thoughts and condolences go out to his Wife Pam and their family.

You will live on amongst the legends of this sport that you loved so much
RIP Des my friend.

I did not know Mr Coulter, of course, but the passing of another great old pigeon man is sad.

Greetings from the land down under. :D
Blessed is he who expecteth nothing, for verily, he shall not be disappointed.
