We seem to get an increased level with the rise in migratory wild birds coming over for the winter month's every year.

Thanks for that Mike. Not what we want, especially if you’re in the AIPZ area as the pigeons aren’t allowed out at all. Just got to hope that things improve running up towards the start of the season.
Back just enjoying club racing for the time being.

If this is so important then why haven't they sent those lofts registered with Defra an email or txt? I thought the whole purpose was to inform fanciers? Had I not been a member on here I'd be totally unaware of this update despite living one of the extended housing areas. Do those in charge really know what they are doing?

I thought was the idea of us all having to get a CPH number so that they could contact everyone.

They have. I received mine 19:42 yesterday. To be fair 2 or 3 times a week i get a message about bird flu or blue tongue or whatever else. Can't say I pay too much attention to be honest but they are sending them out.

If they have your correct details you should be receiving them? I got both a text and email. And a mate of mine received the same

It is APHA not DEFRA you should be receiving them from.
