I used to worm using various wormers, advertised in the pigeon mags and never saw any worms after worming. The first time I used Moxi, the worms in the droppings were incredible, never seen anything like it.
Never seen any myself with any of the products I have used over the years, last time I used moxi was last year not used anything this year

Welcome to site Trecatty
I always used to worm my birds with a harkers wormer prior to pairing up. I'm a bit hit and miss if I do it or not these days, having used both harkers 4in1 and 3in1 I wouldn't use the combi ones again I would treat for each separately.

No matter how good I ever got my droppings they were always that little bit better on Moxidectin

If I had a big race coming up my No.1 go to tool was to give Moxidectin in the water for 24 hrs on the Monday leading into the race.

I've since told the same to Lee Painter and Gary Gordon with startling results

Funny this should come up again.
I found a couple of lice on the flights of one or two birds recently so I dosed them all with Equest horse wormer. That cleaned them up. Probably not a bad time anyway as they are just starting to get moulty.
It's like most things, I will use them if needed, but not just because I can.

I'd rather have something at my disposal to address an issue as opposed to wishing I'd got it in the cupboard

That's just me though, the less I left to chance the better in my book

I used to be like that, and it's perfectly sensible, but a few years ago I threw a heap of out of date stuff in the bin. Years out of date
I've got some worm paste, some purple wound spray and a bottle of Dettol.
The local vet is only 5 minutes away and she said she's happy to supply anything I need if I ever have a problem so that was nice.
