RPRA one loft race
Good afternoon,
It is with regret that due to insufficient entries into the 2025 RPRA One Loft Race, the Council has decided to cancel this year’s race.
The project has been suspended for a full review, and we welcome your suggestions for a refreshed and more viable model.
We hope you can appreciate the reasons for this difficult decision, and we will refund your entrance fees by the same process as they were received.

Only a few years ago it was sold out in December with a waiting list. There have been unfortunate returns before due to just bad luck. What's changed?
Wasn’t last year particularly bad as I was shocked by the figures I couldn’t believe how many were lostdaverscott wrote: ↑Thu Mar 06, 2025 1:14 pm Only a few years ago it was sold out in December with a waiting list. There have been unfortunate returns before due to just bad luck. What's changed?
Or had it always been a disaster?
I never looked before
I think last years figures were especially poor
You've got 2 other things to consider compared to say 5 years ago.
1. More and more UK based OLR popping up all over the place
2. UK fanciers are now entering OLR based all over the world than ever before
Both No.1 and No.2 are "squeezing" the entries of the RPRA race
