Thank you Andy. Very kind of you to share all of that knowledge and experience - it is very much appreciated.

One more question if I can Andy - so presumably you only really need 1 of the pair to have the "room" in the eye to take what could be a fuller eye from its partner.
- Is it any benefit for the roomy eye to be that of the cock or hen?

Yes you’re right Dave. It’s a case of using the one with room in the iris to pair to those that are full. I don’t think it makes any difference whether it’s the cock or hen.Diamond Dave wrote: ↑Thu Mar 06, 2025 6:58 pm One more question if I can Andy - so presumably you only really need 1 of the pair to have the "room" in the eye to take what could be a fuller eye from its partner.
