Yep, it particularly fits well with the Friday watering regime

I’m not saying the performances attained by my mate is ‘because’ of this but you wouldn’t get him straying away from this on a Friday for all the tea in China

Hi Jack
I am no bright spark but happy to help explain anyway I can but by no means does that mean I’m right in the idea
Mike is a clever man I just wing it

we can learn together mate
Mike has said on here many times he will help anyone is they are prepared to follow his advice
I will help anyway I can although I don’t think there is much I could help you with that you won’t know

Neil’s being very kind Jack. You can’t win like he does and not be a smart cookie

You talk my language Jack.

I’m from a coal mining town and a coal mining family

Dad was a winder for 30 years (for those that don’t know he’s the guy that operates the cages and takes the men underground and returns them to the surface). His 4 sons (me included) were all employed by British Coal. Dave and John were miners and me and Ken were in the IT side. I soon learned that you get a miners wage wrong and he soon realises it!

By trade now I’m an Analyst and i analyse everything. It’s how my brain works. Exhausting as I have more questions than answers

I’m a sprinter so my birds are typically in the basket 15 hrs with other birds before being released

To me that’s 15 hrs where they risk cross-contamination

If possible I don’t want my birds drinking with others because they are likely to be not 100% healthy

That’s why I hydrate my birds the way I do

HI mike i like to read yours and Neil's threads i race north now i am not?? i dont know how to put it driven as you two are to win but i still want to win were i come from Shepshed in Leicestershire if you talk about feeding pigeons its beans and canary seed's. I feed differently but i like to race all the way to Scottish race points .Also not many miners went in the winding house they were kept in pristine condition and the winder didn't want mucky boot prints every where. I have been following your writings on different forums since pipa forums cheers jack

Oh blimey Jack you’re taking me back 25 years or so there!

For those who don’t know PIPA ran a Forum back then and there wasn’t all that many UK guys on there mixing it with the Belgians

I recall me, Albert Tarleton, Steve Patrick, Joe Costello, Alan Wilkins and one or two others. Happy Days!

I once went and saw Dad at work in the Winding House. It was a Sunday PM and he’d been called in at short notice. It was impressive

What distances are you primarily interested in Jack and what system are you racing?

I remember PIPA's forum. I learned a fair bit about racing in Europe and the UK from reading the posts.
Greetings from the land down under. :D
