I've been sorting our unikon and software for last 14 or so years and have come across most problems and helped people from top to bottom of country and Ireland so if you have a question feel free to ask even the unikon manager has things you can do to make the clock secretary job easier that you prob don't know

Thanks for your offer. I’m sure there will be members on here that could appreciate your help. I’m on Bricon myself but know members who have unikon.
Back just enjoying club racing for the time being.

If it says low battery it’s the base unit requiring a battery. ? If it says clock battery low it’s the pocket clock battery requiring replaced. Strange you said it was updating, I’ve had that problem with a couple of pocket clocks and it was the pocket clock requiring the battery. Unikon can only change this battery due to some code built into it. It was £51 plus carriage and it was 3-5 weeks for return at the time. If it is the base station I’ve address in Scotland that returns in a couple of days for £30, Unikon last quote was about £110 .

sorry had g dtr round and phone doesn't seem to be telling me I've got messages but I think you will find the Scottish guy is not doing it now as he can't get codes to put into clocks anymore but it little to late I'm afraid seems base is at fault battery wise as pc is updating it with new software everything it's put on but could be vise a versa try putting base on with out PC in and see what version it says as it should be 3.22 before pc is inserted either way it's got to go back to unikon I'm afraid but get both base and pc done together it's still cheaper than owning a t3 sorry for delay in answering with bad news

unfortunately you now can't you can ask but i suspect they will not do anything with it as you have removed the holographic tamper stickers to get to the screws which hold it together
