bird has just died now Steve GB22B 19145
So sorry to hear this. Doesn’t do the sport any good. I picked up one from a non fancier a couple of years ago following a plea from a fancier up north. I spoke with them and arranged to pick the bird up. I brought it home and let them know I had it. Despite me trying I couldn’t get hold of them again and never heard from them. This was on pigeon chat. I wouldn’t now pick a pigeon up for someone who has just joined a forum to get mug to pick up their pigeon. This was the only post that this person ever put on chat.

As you have Andy I have picked many up over the years but now will not, the one I got now had injured wing maybe broken not sure, anyway this Craig put post on Basics and someone told him I was in the West Midlands so I arranged to pick it up he said his brother or in law would collect on his way to Telford in his lorry time and time again he would contact and say containers not arrived from China so not going then said would collect before Christmas never heard another thing from him he even stopped going on Basics and never replied, so in the end reported to RPRA thinking he would get in touch and still nothing, one couple weeks ago not far away did think about helping out but then changed my mind that is how that bloody Craig got to meAndy wrote: ↑Sat Aug 27, 2022 8:14 pm So sorry to hear this. I have helped people out and don’t mind if genuine but a lot just want someone to pick the pigeon up from a non fancier and leave the problem with the fancier who has helped out. I haven’t had as many strays in as usual this year but have probably had about a dozen. Very few have a phone number on. There are the odd ones that I have helped home and the owners have been very appreciative and let me know that they have got home.
